Dear Patients,
As a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, it is my greatest priority to be by your side for any issues related to your health and reproductive system. I strive to respond to the various medical needs you may encounter at different stages of your life with the most up-to-date and effective methods.
In this regard, the main diseases and issues within my expertise are as follows:
As a gynecologist and obstetrician, the health of the female reproductive system and the management of the childbirth process are my areas of expertise and primary focus. In cases requiring surgery, I successfully perform various surgical procedures with the aim of maintaining our patients' health and quality of life at the highest level.
The main surgical methods I perform are as follows:
This method, which is increasingly used in gynecology, is performed through small incisions made in the abdominal area, using a camera and instruments.
Application Areas:
Diagnostic laparoscopy (examination of the abdomen for diagnostic purposes)
Removal of ovarian cysts
Removal of fibroids (laparoscopic myomectomy)
Treatment of endometriosis
Hysterectomy (laparoscopic hysterectomy)
Treatment of ectopic pregnancy
Tubal ligation
Surgery for uterine prolapse
A method where the inside of the uterus is examined and treated by inserting a thin camera (hysteroscope) through the cervix.
Application Areas:
Removal of uterine polyps
Removal of uterine adhesions
Investigation of abnormal uterine bleeding
Removal of intrauterine devices (IUD)
A traditional surgical method where a larger incision is made in the abdominal area.
Application Areas:
Removal of large fibroids
Advanced stage cancer surgery
Emergency situations (e.g., ruptured ectopic pregnancy)
The delivery of the baby through an incision made in the abdomen and uterus.
It is preferred in cases where normal delivery is not possible or is considered risky.
Labiaplasty (inner labia aesthetic surgery)
Vaginoplasty (vaginal tightening)
Gynecologists (obstetricians and gynecologists) may request various tests to assess their patients' overall health, particularly reproductive system health, diagnose diseases, and determine appropriate treatment methods. The type of tests requested varies according to the patient's complaints, examination findings, and the physician's clinical evaluation.
Some commonly requested tests by gynecologists:
This is a fundamental procedure that should be applied to every patient. Your doctor will examine your external and internal genital organs (vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries) manually and visually.
Transvaginal Ultrasound: A probe inserted into the vagina allows for detailed imaging of the uterus, ovaries, and other pelvic organs.
Abdominal Ultrasound: An ultrasound performed on the abdomen that can visualize pelvic organs and issues like fibroids or cysts in the uterus.
A test performed to screen and detect cervical cancer early. Cells are collected from the cervix and examined under a microscope.
A test for screening human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is the main cause of cervical cancer..
Hormone Tests:
FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone): A hormone that regulates ovarian stimulation and egg production.
LH (Luteinizing Hormone): A hormone that triggers ovulation.
Estrogen: Known as the female hormone.
Progesterone: Prepares the uterus for pregnancy during the second half of the menstrual cycle.
Thyroid Hormones (TSH, T3, T4): Evaluate the function of the thyroid gland.
Prolactin: A hormone that stimulates milk production.
Testosterone: Known as the male hormone, but it is also present in females.
AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone): A hormone that shows ovarian reserve.
These tests are used to diagnose hormonal imbalances related to menstrual irregularities, infertility, hirsutism (excessive hair growth), and similar issues.
Vaginal Culture: A sample is taken from vaginal discharge to check for the presence of fungi, bacteria, or other microorganisms.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Tests: Tests for infections like chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, etc.
The previously mentioned Smear and HPV tests are screening tests for cervical cancer.
In certain cases, additional blood tests (CA-125, etc.) may be requested for uterine and ovarian cancer screening
Before pregnancy, your doctor may request tests such as a complete blood count, urine analysis, blood group, and screening for infectious diseases.
During pregnancy, various ultrasounds and blood tests (e.g., dual screening, triple screening, quadruple screening) are performed to monitor the health and development of the baby.
