Neonatal Intensive Care Visitor Rules

As A Life Health Group, the health and safety of our newborn babies is our top priority. Therefore, in order to protect the sensitive environment in our intensive care unit and to minimize the risk of infection, we meticulously apply the following visitor rules:

Visiting Hours and Frequency:

Visiting days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are determined as Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 15:00-16:00. Visitors cannot be accepted outside of visiting days and hours.
Entry and exit to the Neonatal Intensive Care is limited, personnel who are not on duty in the service and relatives of the patient cannot enter the Neonatal Intensive Care without permission.
Visitors other than the mother and father are not accepted to the Neonatal Intensive Care.
Hygiene and Infection Control:

In accordance with the Infection Control Committee and the Chief Physician's Instruction, hands are washed in accordance with the hand washing instructions at all entrances and exits to the Neonatal Intensive Care.
Neonatal Intensive Care staff and visitors are prohibited from wearing rings, watches, jewelry, etc., and visitors are prohibited from entering the unit with bags and phones.
Visitors can enter the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after wearing a mask, bonnet and apron and washing their hands.
Staff and visitors with active infection cannot enter the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Hands are definitely washed before and after touching the baby. Hands are disinfected with hand sanitizer after the incubator lids are opened.
Privacy and Security:

Visitors are prohibited from taking photos, filming and video.
It is prohibited for the patient's parents to contact the baby without permission.
Administrative procedures are applied to those who do not comply with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit entry and exit rules.
General Information:

Visitors can enter the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after washing their hands, wearing a mask, bonnet and apron in accordance with the entry and exit rules.
Please follow the instructions of the intensive care team and cooperate.
Information about the patient is given only to the mother and father by the patient's physician. Information about the patient is not provided by phone.
