Pediatric Intensive Care Visitor Rules

  • Entry and exit to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is limited, personnel not assigned to the service and relatives of the patients cannot enter the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit without permission.

    In accordance with the Infection Control Committee and the Chief Physician's Instruction, hands are washed in accordance with the hand washing instructions at all entrances and exits to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
    Pediatric Intensive Care employees and visitors are prohibited from wearing rings, watches, jewelry, etc., and visitors are prohibited from entering the unit with bags and phones.
    Pediatric Intensive Care Unit visiting days are determined as Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 15:00-16:00.
    Visitors are not allowed outside of visiting days and hours.
    No visitors are allowed to enter the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit except for the mother and father.
    Visitors can enter the unit after wearing a mask, cap and apron and washing their hands.
    Visitors are prohibited from taking photos, filming and video.
    Personnel and visitors with active infection cannot enter the unit.
    Administrative procedures are applied to those who do not comply with the rules for entering and exiting the Intensive Care Unit.
    It is prohibited to contact the child or patient without employee permission.
    Visitors can enter the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after washing their hands and wearing a mask, bonnet and apron, in accordance with the entry and exit rules.
