How Is Labiaplasty Performed?

Labiaplasty is generally performed under general or local anesthesia. The surgery is carried out through a small incision at the vaginal entrance. The surgeon applies the appropriate method to alter the shape and size of the labia minora. After the surgery, a dressing is applied to the vaginal entrance, and a few days of hospital stay may be required.

Labiaplasty Recovery Process

The recovery process after labiaplasty is generally quick. Mild pain and swelling in the vaginal area may occur after surgery. These complaints can be alleviated with cold compresses and the use of pain-relieving medications.

Postoperative Care Instructions

Use the medications prescribed by your doctor regularly.
Maintain proper hygiene.
Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activities.

Post-Labiaplasty Complaints
