Prof. Dr. Yetişir began his medical education at one of Turkey's leading institutions, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, and completed his studies with distinction between 1992 and 1999, stepping into the medical profession after graduating with honors.

He then pursued his specialization in general surgery at Ankara SSK Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital, successfully completing this crucial training in 2005, earning the title of specialist in general surgery.

Furthermore, his success in various cancer surgeries, including pancreatic cancer, is notable, and he possesses significant surgical experience in this domain as well.
