Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özden

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özden is a renowned expert and academician in the field of health sciences. With extensive knowledge in infectious diseases and immunology, he holds a significant position in the medical community.

Prof. Dr. Özden began his medical career by completing his undergraduate education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine between 1986 and 1992. He then received his specialization training in infectious diseases at Fırat University between 1997 and 2002.

He earned his doctoral degree in immunology at Fırat University Institute of Health Sciences between 2008 and 2012. In his scientific studies, Prof. Dr. Özden examines immunological mechanisms and investigates the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. His doctoral thesis titled "Investigation of hepatocyte growth factor and proinflammatory cytokine levels in febrile neutropenic cases" particularly reinforced his expertise in this field.

Prof. Dr. Özden continued his professional career at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine as a faculty member and, in 2015, transferred to İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, where he continues his work.
