In surgical cases, I successfully perform various procedures aimed at maintaining my patients’ health and quality of life at the highest level.

Within this scope, the main surgical methods I apply are as follows:

Widely used in modern gynecology, this technique is performed by inserting a camera and instruments through small incisions in the abdominal wall.

Karın bölgesine daha geniş bir kesi yapılarak gerçekleştirilen geleneksel ameliyat yöntemidir.

Applications:

  • Removal of large fibroids

  • Emergency situations (e.g., ruptured ectopic pregnancy)

Surgical delivery of a baby through incisions in the abdomen and uterus.
Preferred when vaginal delivery is not possible or poses risks.

  • Labiaplasty (inner labia reshaping)

  • Vaginoplasty (vaginal tightening)

Gynecology and Obstetrics Department Screening Tests

Gynecologists may request various tests to evaluate their patients' general health status and especially reproductive system health, diagnose diseases, and determine appropriate treatment methods. The type of these tests varies according to the patient's complaints, examination findings, and the physician's clinical assessment.

Some tests frequently requested by gynecologists:

This is a basic procedure that should be performed on every patient. Your doctor examines your external and internal genital organs (vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries) by hand and visually.

  • Transvaginal Ultrasonography: Provides a more detailed view of the uterus, ovaries, and other pelvic organs using a probe inserted into the vagina.
  • Abdominal Ultrasonography: Pelvic organs and issues such as fibroids or cysts in the uterus can be visualized through an ultrasound performed over the abdomen.

A test performed to screen for and diagnose cervical cancer early. Cells are taken from the cervix and examined under a microscope.

A test performed for screening the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is the main cause of cervical cancer

Hormone Tests:

  • FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone): A hormone that controls the stimulation of the ovaries and egg production.

  • LH (Luteinizing Hormone): A hormone that triggers ovulation.

  • Estrogen: Known as the female hormone.

  • Progesterone: Prepares the uterine lining for pregnancy during the second half of the menstrual cycle.

  • Thyroid Hormones (TSH, T3, T4): Assess thyroid gland function.

  • Prolactin: A hormone that stimulates milk production.

  • Testosterone: Although known as a male hormone, it is also present in women.

  • AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone): A hormone indicating ovarian reserve.

These tests are used in diagnosing problems related to hormonal imbalances such as menstrual irregularities, infertility, and hirsutism (excessive hair growth).

  • Vaginal Culture: A sample is taken from vaginal discharge to investigate the presence of fungi, bacteria, or other microorganisms.
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Tests: Tests performed for infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomonas.

The Smear and HPV tests mentioned above are screening tests for cervical cancer.

If necessary, other blood tests for uterine and ovarian cancer (CA-125, etc.) may be requested.

For pre-pregnancy evaluation, your doctor may request complete blood count, urine analysis, blood group, and infectious disease screening tests.

During pregnancy, various ultrasounds and blood tests (double, triple, quadruple screening) are performed to monitor the health and development of the baby.
