Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özden

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özden is a renowned expert and academician in the field of health sciences. With extensive knowledge in infectious diseases and immunology, he holds a significant position in the medical community.

Prof. Dr. Özden began his medical career by completing his undergraduate education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine between 1986 and 1992. He then received his specialization training in infectious diseases at Fırat University between 1997 and 2002.

He earned his doctoral degree in immunology at Fırat University Institute of Health Sciences between 2008 and 2012. In his scientific studies, Prof. Dr. Özden examines immunological mechanisms and investigates the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. His doctoral thesis titled "Investigation of hepatocyte growth factor and proinflammatory cytokine levels in febrile neutropenic cases" particularly reinforced his expertise in this field.

Prof. Dr. Özden continued his professional career at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine as a faculty member and, in 2015, transferred to İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, where he continues his work. He has a significant background in education and taught many undergraduate courses during 2010-2011. In addition to sharing his knowledge and experience in infectious diseases and immunology with his students, he has contributed to the training of young doctors through numerous specialization theses.

His research areas include various topics related to health sciences. He has numerous publications and internationally recognized articles. His articles published in various journals contributing to his professional development have received wide attention in the scientific community.
